FAQs
Do you have a set price list?
Because every wedding we design is completely bespoke, we don’t offer a one-size-fits-all price list. Instead, we provide a Pricing Guide to help you understand how your budget aligns with our design tiers.
Wedding floral pricing depends on several variables, including the types of blooms
selected, the complexity of the designs, and the logistics of setup and breakdown.
Following our initial consultation, we will provide a tailored estimate alongside a beautiful creative proposal.
Is there a minimum spend?
No, we do not operate with a minimum spend. We believe every wedding, regardless of its scale, deserves thoughtful, high-quality floral design. Our focus is simply on helping you maximise the visual impact of your investment.
How do you practice sustainable floristry?
Since 2016, Jane has been deeply passionate about minimising our environmental footprint. We are proudly 100% floral foam-free, opting instead for eco-friendly mechanics such as reusable chicken wire, moss, and water tubes. We also prioritise composting organic waste and reducing single-use plastics throughout our design process.
Do you only use locally grown flowers?
We always advocate for seasonal, Cornish-grown blooms to minimise "flower miles."
However, we understand you may have a specific design vision. When local sourcing isn't possible, we partner with a trusted network of eco-conscious merchants who source high quality stems year-round, ensuring they are grown and transported as responsibly as possible.
What happens to the flowers after our wedding?
We highly encourage you and your guests to take the arrangements home to enjoy. You
are welcome to deconstruct the displays at the end of the night. Any organic material left behind is returned to our studio for composting, and all structural mechanics (like wire and vessels) are reclaimed and reused.
How far do you travel?
While Jane Lawrence Flowers is proudly based in Cornwall and primarily serves our
beautiful local county, we love an adventure. We are more than happy to discuss the
logistics of traveling further afield for your special day.
When should we book our wedding flowers?
We recommend reaching out 9 to 12 months before your wedding date, especially if you
are marrying during the peak summer season. Because we provide a highly bespoke service, we only take on a limited number of weddings per weekend to ensure each couple gets our undivided attention.
Can we change our minds about the flower selection or colour palette afterbooking?
Absolutely. Your initial proposal is a starting point. We expect your ideas to evolve as you finalise other details like bridesmaids' dresses and tableware. We can refine your floral concepts and colour palette up until 6 weeks before your wedding, which is when our final orders are placed with our growers.
Do you provide vases and props, or do we need to supply them?
We have a diverse, carefully curated collection of vases, compote bowls, pedestals and candle holders available for hire. If you have chosen your own specific vessels, we are more than happy to work with them, provided they are suitable for the designs.
